Puppy raisers needed to raise Leader Dog for the Blind puppies
Here is a great volunteer opportunity with Leader Dogs for the Blind that we would like you to know about.
Puppy raisers take on the rewarding opportunity to raise a puppy with the chance to enhance the lives of someone who is blind and/or visually impaired. As a puppy raiser you would: *Be given a puppy to raise when it is approximately 7 weeks of age until 12-15 months old. *Be given instruction and assistance on what’s needed to raise the puppy to its best potential. *Learn many new techniques to use when raising a puppy. *Be able to name the puppy. *Have the opportunity to be around like minded, outstanding people also raising puppies. *Be able to volunteer your valuable time for a worthwhile cause. *Receive the love and adoration of a wonderful puppy (complete with puppy kisses)! *Have the opportunity to enhance a life in the process. Please consider opening up your home and heart to a future Leader Dog puppy. It is time well spent! You can be part of almost 500 families over many different states that are part of this very special group of people.
