Jail Break for Giant Steps
On May 23rd, Giant Steps hosted a luncheon at Maggiano’s in Naperville. Giant Steps is a 501(c)3 organization, established in 1996, that provides services for people with autism. I attended the lunch as a guest of Dan Dahlke, Giant Steps Director of Advancement. The other guests included Giant Steps families, staff and volunteers as well as other community supporters. An Italian inspired lunch was served.
The theme was a Jail Break fundraiser. The proceeds will benefit the Giant Steps Community Campaign. This campaign aims to fully fund Giant Steps one-of-a-kind facility in an effort to free up working capital essential for services, innovation, and expansion of autism-specific programming.
