Renee Pinto is the clinical director of Charlie’s Gift in Downers Grove, IL. Her responsibilities include completing all new intakes for the clinic. She is then able to place the child with the appropriate therapist. At this time, she manages nine therapists and one administrative employee. She also assists therapists (when necessary) in goal writing or treatment plans and maintains communication between the therapist and the parent. Additionally, Charlie’s Gift has several fundraisers throughout the year which she organizes.
On December 8, 2011 at 7pm, Renee along with Dr. Aimee M. Koerner-Frank, PsyD. will be speaking on the topic “Coping Issues: How to Take Care of Yourself and Your Family.” The talk is sponsored by TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) and is located at The Country Inn & Suites, 1837 Center Pointe Circle, Naperville, IL.
Charlie’s Gift (A Program of the Community House in Hinsdale) is an innovative and integrative approach to serving the immediate and long term needs of children and families facing the unique and complex needs of Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory processing concerns, and other related disorders. All programs and services are tailored to the individual and family needs and are provided by experienced, licensed professionals who create a coordinated, therapeutic, and engaging environment. The therapy services available include occupational therapy, developmental therapy, speech therapy, mental health/behavior therapy, and music therapy.
